"Take a Walk on the Wild Side - Small Countries with Big Opportunities"
8 - 10 July 2005 - Vienna

Are you struggling to get your next documentary off the ground? Are you still waiting for a broadcaster to get on board? Are you worried because financial contributions from TV seem to be melting away while costs are rising? Can you get around the big networks and build new links to smaller partners who share the same vision? Or can you even produce independently, beat the big ones and grasp totally new opportunities?

Discovery Campus invites you to a summer weekend in Vienna: where else could we better analyse disappearing empires and discover new diversity and opportunities in smaller countries. Small is not only beautiful. Small can be powerful!

Focusing on the genres history, arts & culture and natural history, Discovery Campus has invited experienced directors, producers and commissioning editors and new ambitious colleagues from broadcasters and companies in Central- and Eastern Europe and Scandinavia.
